Hybrid .NET Software Developer

Job Description

Avanti Recruitment is currently partnering with an established software company who work within the utilities sector based in Suffolk. They are searching for a talented .NET Software Developer to join their technical team and to be involved in the full development lifecycle of projects. From requirements gathering & analysis through to development, support, configuration & release management and on-going maintenance.

In regards to remote working, they are taking a hybrid approach with visits to the office only required once per week / one per two weeks.

The successful candidate will help in the development of new projects, being involved in front end solutions and evolving existing desktop and mobile products. You will be creating fantastic products with an understanding of the user experience that helps the clients to engage. Working closely with stakeholders, product owners and team members you will be happy to demonstrate products and prototypes to a range of stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be confident in sharing their thoughts around software, giving new and brave ideas, designs, ways of working and routes the projects will take. You should also have a passion for front end development.

Essential skills:

C# ASP.Net / .Net Core

Writing unit and integration tests, CI / CD tools

Integration with REST APIs

JavaScript / TypeScript

CSS, HTML, Responsive design experience

Angular

Desirable skills:

Exposure to authentication patterns

UI/UX prototyping

Azure platform

Git / Bitbucket

Entity Framework / Dapper

Mobile app development (ideally using Ionic)

Serenity Platform
